“Canvas”

One of Vans’ marketing pillars is street art. To promote their line (and culture) of customizable canvas skate shoes, we created this spec ad featuring Luvs, a prominent street artist from Toronto. In this ad, we tell his story, as he analogizes the blank canvas of a street wall to the blank canvas of a plain, white Vans sneaker.

This project was shot on 16mm film.
